Got something to discuss about RL in general? Then this is the place to post it.

I was there and still can't belive it. I was hoping for a win and we threw the match in the first half. Why can we defend like chamoions only in the 2nd half of each match we play. The number of first half poor performances we do is frightening. If we can play for the full 80 mins we can beat any side in this league including St Helens :(

Jim just to add to your misery. We keep losing to them at U21s and U18s

no m8 just a captain who can get something out of our players when there heads are down

a good captain can turn adversity to advantage
defeat into a win

not all the time i agree but in some instances this can work

And he must be U18 and be able to play for the 18s 21s and first team. Hence I opt for Osama as proving age is much harder in such countries

So looking at our squad who could be a potential captain? Barrett?

We can't have Fletcher because he isnt on for the 80 minutes as Hansen etc come on for spells. Barrett seems the likely leader. He obviously does his bit already on the pitch and I think you're right about Lockers... if the 'tag' of 'captain' is removed he will be under less pressure

The only option is Barrett. However N.B Many judges of the NRL believed that the weight of captaincy affected his form for St George.

More importantly let me get this right. If we get a new captain, we will beat Saints in SL, we will beat Saints at U21s and we will beat Saints at U18s.

Will this captain use Kryptonite
