Nearly 37 mate. Odd thing is everybody played football in our family (Standish tended to be football only) BUT lots of us preferred watching League and obviously Wigan. My father used to sit in the hen pen as a lad and I got hooked as a youngster.

I started collecting home programmes and have managed to get all but around 30 for a complete set back to WWII. I stopped collecting when we left Central Park. I have about 60 pre war programmes dating back to around 1912.

Most foolish thing I did was not retaining my video collection of matches and having to start all over again. Used to nip down to the old Micron shop and get the Australian Video and the Wigan match each week. Luckily, I have built up some decent contacts particularly in Aus and get some great stuff from Down Under.

This is like trading Premier League stickers when we was at school.
