We should have had a back, a forward, and maybe a winger on the bench.

AB, don't go there.

id have thoguht he has 3 on the bench to swap them round and see which performs the best. this way he could maybe establish a full starting loose forward for future reference?

or he may switch them to different posistions during the match eg second rower prop centre or standoff and scrumhalf?

well o'loughlin could probably cut second half, stand off at a push and maybe evenc entre. BUT i wouldn't want to move (and i don't think smith would either) burrows and mcguire out of place.
