Wigan Warriors shame & blame 2ND BEST AT WAKEFIELD

Post by jimofwigan »

After the break from rugby league I was chomping at the bit to see Wigan play again. We were at Wakefield and IT STICKS IN THE THROAT TO SAY THIS WE LOOKED LIKE A RELAGATION SIDE AGAIN. Wakefield out enthused us, were quicker at the play of the ball, they tackled harder and missed less tackles than us. Their scrum half looked a world beater and ours looked like he had just moved up a grade from the acadamy just a tad to soon.We could not defend our line,we could not back up the player with the ball.
Our centres where outclassed, our pack was beaten.

By the look of the Boots'n'All online show, 17 of our 20 man squad for this Friday are to blame.

I can all ready hear people on here saying how have I come up with that, and my answer is - easy.

It's the same team (more or less) as he put out last Sunday.

A good assessment of Sunday's game Jim &, for whatever reason best known to the team, every other game this season.

Nobby is now starting to talk about the attitude of many of the players & he is right - the sad thing though, is that these players are retaining their place in the team, whereas Wigan have released many youngsters in recent years because they have deemeed that they did not have the right attitude :exc:

In relation to our centres, these must be the 2 slowest centres that we have had in living memory - Bailey & DV are not capable of making a clean break & creating an overlap, therefore, 2 of the best wingers in the league are getting p!ss poor service :exc:

Expect a backs clear out by Nobby in the close season - his description of the backs is that they are 'flakey' - let's hope that the changes are made though in SL & not NL1 :exc:

I did consider him, but to be honest he was hardly a shining light before Feka's recent injury. He's not had a good season and has not yet done enough to fill in any of the gaps in my squad. Prescott and O'Carroll have both looked keener than Fielden during the season as a whole.
