Got something to discuss about RL in general? Then this is the place to post it.

Widnes and Castleford make the Grade

Post by Poster »

How can the RFL be taken seriously when they deem the Jungle to be up to the minimum ground standards for entry into SL should they win the play off.

Widnes truly deserve their approval.

Whitehaven have been judged not up to standard.

Methinks there is some underhand dealing in this ruling.

I don't think anyone takes the RFL seriously.

Come on Widnes!

It has always been a tough ask for any club that enters superleague from NRL 1 to stay up.They can only start recruting after the final whistle of the play off final. They have at this stage given the rest of superleague a head start in the pick of available players. If they could stop up they would invest in new grounds. So they need only have a minimum standard to enter but should pledge that they improve as soon as possible. The franchise system will encourage investment in groudns as this will be part of the criteria when renewal comes up
