Could the Salary Cap situation be about to change forever?

Got something to discuss about RL in general? Then this is the place to post it.

"And Martin Offiah, trying to make some space, now then..." - Ray French, Wembley 1994

Interviewer: So that obviously means that you're not going to St Helens and you're not going to Leeds?

Frano: I don't know why I would ever want to go to St Helens or Leeds

This leaves about 40,000 people whom the Revenue believe have not complied fully with UK tax law and who could now face fines up to 100% of their backdated taxes, and in extreme cases, prosecution.

Shall we send them some names?

Let's see, now...Sculthorpe, Long, Cunningham, Wellens, Pryce, Fozzard etc etc....

I saw that but it seems to me its going to be a long haul to get the info from all those banks.

What it may do is prevent clubs saying to players that will be signed in future that the club can guarantee a large part of the wages are going to be tax free. Witht he tax man doing this it would be very poor form for a club to tell a player his wages will be tax free and then him get lumbered with a bill from the IR.
