Tommy Martyn

Post by josie andrews »

Former St Helens stand off Tommy Martyn has joined the coaching staff of engage Super League neighbours Warrington Wolves.

The 36-year-old ex-Ireland international has been working as a kicking coach for the Wolves’ academy players on a trial period for the last month and will now link up with the club permanently on a part-time basis.

Martyn, who won the Lance Todd Trophy in the 1997 Challenge Cup final, had a spell as coach of his home-town club Leigh after leaving Saints in 2003.

that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Steve Hampson was a dray man as well. :conf: It's a profession and reasonably well paid.

I can see the gypsy caravans now, squatting on the club car park. All the plumbing out of the showers will go missing in no time. Copper is worth a few bob these days.

Don't you think it is getting a bit politically incorrect with this post :exc:
