i know its been said many times, but hemmings is one biased git. The crap he comes up with about saints is pathetic . Surely someone should have a word with him

Hi Ian

I try to ignore commentators, same as with referees, but must agree with you tonight. His script was clearly Barba v Tomkins, and he still mentioned it 3 or 4 times in the first half despite Sam not playing.

Then Wigan's superb performance was seen mainly through the frame of "Saints won't be presented with the LLS tonight." It's time he went. Even Dave Woods is doing a better job these days.

What is it about Rugby League that we've been blessed with Eddie Waring, Ray "I used to get 7 and 6 a week" French, Stevo ("momentum rule" and ",time for a drop goal") and Eddie?

Enjoyed Eddie choking on his tears.
Footballers spend 90 minutes pretending they're injured. Rugby League players spend 80 minutes pretending they're not.

I've always said that one of the best things about going to the games is that you don't have have listen to his drivel in the TV!

He was even worse when he was with stevo, they were two prats together
I like it when terry or Barry question Eddie about things he says, he sounds a right prat that he is.

its sickening how he brings up derbies from previous seasons and generally how brilliant certain saints players were in them. He seems to be on the edge of his seat when saints attack and seems to choke when Wigan attack and the best one last night was when he said the new coaches had to learn how important it was to win the derby. Like Edwards wouldnt know !!!!!

Thought he said "Edwards will know all about that".
It was obvious SKY went to the game all prepared for Saints lifting the LLS. Their preparation for the show would have all that into the package and time allowed. They would probably have dropped Wells' touch screen slot to tell us all how fantastic Saints have been with at least 6 slots of Barba in great form.

How bloody dare Wigan spoil their weeks preparation. It just isn't on!
Hemmings did redeem himself when describing Gilart's try as "going past Barba like he wasn't there. Wonderful try"!
Never expected him to say anything like that.

McDermott or O Connor picked Hemmings up on the Edwards comment when he made it !!
