Catalan vs Stains

Such biased reffing its a joke. Its like they want to give stains the match.
These are two reasons not to trust people.
1. We don't know them.
2. We do know them.

no wonder Kenny Edwards is saying how poor that reffing is over here, the guy hadnt a clue. How did Sam Moa get a yellow card for one. The scrum which led to the try should have gone the other way and thats just two examples of what was a piss poor ref performance

3 times saints had a forward pass and scored a try only 1 picked up.
The yellow.. how was that a late tackle. How was the player meant to pull out of the tackle?

Not a lot we can do when the ref gets it wrong on a yellow or red card (like Kenny Edwards at Wigan).
What can be done is prevent tries being scored from forward passes. The rule whereby the VR can't look at forward passes is and always has been absurd. When trophies are won on the back of that ludicrous rule then the game is brought into disrepute.
The end of the Catalan v Saints game was ridiculous, two tries and then 12 scored when neither try should have been awarded is unacceptable.
The new CEO of the RFL needs to tell Ganson that this has to stop.

I completely agree. Sorry to say but the referee had a shocker in this game ☹️
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Too big a game, and too much going on, for this referee to control competently.
Not ready with his limited level of experience, but then again, I suppose, how does he get this sort of experience required, faced with such high profile teams ?
Ref appointment to this game should have matched its potential consequences, but not enough top official to go around, mainly due to retirements and injury (Bentham).

I was referring to "experience" - Bentham has reffed Wembley Finals, Grand Finals, 4 Nations Finals, World Cups and Test Matches in all the RL playing countries. Liam Moore can't "buy" this kind of experience, and it showed.

I'm not talking here about whether you like him or not, it's often said if both teams fans complain about a particular ref, then often he's done his job well !
If only one set give the thumbs up, the other lot feel "robbed". Fans see things one-sided, depending on their partisan eyes and, in fact, how many fans really know the laws of the game, to any great extent. You only have to go to any game as a neutral to see these diverse views !
