Rugby Football League want to stream England Knights' tour of Papua New Guinea

Post by josie andrews »

The Rugby Football League are hoping to stream England Knights’ two-match tour of Papua New Guinea live via their Our League app.

Some rugby league fans were up in arms last Wednesday due to technical difficulties with the app during England’s win over France but the governing body stated the service had a 97% success rate, according to League Weekly.

The RFL are planning to push ahead with the app and remain eager to provide coverage of the Knights' matches against PNG.

Paul Anderson leads the Knights into battle in the Southern Hemisphere for games in Lae this Saturday, October 27 and in Port Moresby on Saturday, November 3.

The RFL are currently in the process of sorting out the finer details regarding transmission of the encounters in the remote region but are hopeful of a solution.

Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan
