Got something to discuss about RL in general? Then this is the place to post it.

St Helens' Rugby League World Cup 2021 bid progresses to next stage

I hope Wigan/DW, Salford/AJ Bell & Warrington/Halliwell Jones put forward tenders & are successful.
If the bid is successful, it is expected that each match could be worth up to £4.5 million to the borough.
This is my argument against playing RL matches at mega rich football stadiums!

All our clubs could make good use of the monies generated by have International games at suitable RL grounds.
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Well said Josie!

PS I wonder what Tongans would make of St.Helens.

I know when I started work there in 1972 I was traumatised-& I only moved from Salford!
