Next season’s Magic Weekend fixtures have been revealed.

The event, which is widely expected to be move to Anfield next year, will stage a repeat of this year’s Grand Final as Wigan take on Warrington in one of two headline games.

There will be no Hull derby, with the Black and Whites set to play Huddersfield and the Robins facing Salford, while London’s return to the event will see them take on Leeds.

Wakefield will take on Catalans in the other game set to be staged at the event, which all games set to take place on May 26/27th

Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage.

Looks like Leeds are being helped out at this fixture!

What's changed? It is much simpler and fairer to allow 1v2, 3v4 etc. from the previous season's league table or, if the RFL want to try and make a profit, which I believe that the Magic weekend doesn't, then choose matches to generate the biggest interest.

On another matter, why is this being staged at Anfield? I thought the concept of Magic was to spread the gospel?

I just don't get it, what are the RFL trying to achieve by taking it to Merseyside?

At the risk of stating the obvious, it's closer than Newcastle for most fans in the heartlands?
