Sutton begins training with Canberra

Post by josie andrews »

Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

I've said before that it's hard to see who Bateman would replace at Canberra. That applies in spades to Sutton.

Canberra back 3 last year would be Whitehead, Soliola and Tapine? They seem to have lost a few props from last year as well.

Think they played Soliola mostly in the front row.

But now they also have Pangai Junior. And Josh Papalii.

They lost Shannon Boyd, for one.

Ah OK, I guess Bateman has a reasonable chance of a start, Sutton will need to continue to improve though.

Blimey, Soliola must have piled on the kilos - I remember not long back him in the centre for Saints ? And now a prop.
