After Warrington Wolves completed the signing of England RU’s Luther Burrell earlier this week, here are 10 players Wigan captured from the 15-a-side code.

:D Spot on, as anyone who remembers wintergreen would tell you!

Standing in th'En Pen and smelling wintergreen (not you personally!) as the players came out to March of the Gladiators. And only after having asked a bloke "Tek me through, Mister" and paying your thre'pence.

I'm sure you remember it all as well as I do.

Which is now a new housing estate, a football pitch and an Aldi superstore.

Trevor Lake was a great wingman. Played same time as Billy B on the opposite wing, obviously sorry!
One of the first I saw was Rees Thomas, signed from Swinton but from Welsh RU.
