A great performance from salford, just shows what a decent 6,7,9 can do for you. Hastings played very well, we could of done with him instead of the championship quality we currently have

Should be an entertaining game when we go there in two weeks.
Never seen Salford play like that for 50 years when they had the brilliant side with Hesketh, Watkins, Coulman, Fielding etc.
That was some performance from them. Catalans looked liked they couldn't understand how it all happened, pretty much like the tv commentators.

just disproves the idea that halves cant play behind a poor pack of forwards.Salford forwards are average,Dudson,Flanagan,Mossop when hes fit just average, Murray a rookie,Robert Lui is not the player he was yet still a threat and Hastings was superb.Williams fans just watch his performance and realise what a class half back should do.

They did their homework on Cats, knew they couldnt match them for forward power so they went wide and ran them into the ground.
