On field interviews?

Got something to discuss about RL in general? Then this is the place to post it.

On field interviews?

Post by ian.birchall »

Whoever at Superleague was it who decided it was a clever move to allow BBC reporters to repeatedly come onto the field to interview players after tries have been scored.
Leave them to keep their heads on the game.

Doubt it was superleague. CC is an RFL competition.

I also think its too much, they should be focused on the game, not being interviewed. They can't say anything particularly interesting in one sentence anyway.

Hunter Paul is a complete pain in the arse, just as bad before games, Let teams be, I'd rather watch a great game of rugby than has beens running on ad off the pitch

Ridiculous, the RFL need to look at that again.
It will be challenged when the player interviewed drops the ball from the kick off, which can happen, and the coach complains that the players concentration was interrupted.

I've always said that the players should be left to get into the dressing room, they are hyped, or is it now called "pumped", & need to get in to discuss with the coach not the reporters leave it until the game is over please.
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan
