State of Origin SPOILER

Post by josie andrews » Wed Jul 10, 2019 1:08 pm

James Tedesco MoM for me outstanding player 😊 scored the winning try on 80th minute

NSW 26 QLD 20

Win the series 😊
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage.

Good game though could have been put to bed 15/20 minutes early with a drop goal, So much for NRL players being superior beings :D

I thought the ref favoured nsw immensely in the first 50.......very rare in the nrl but even the commentators mentioned it........tedesco was mom as josie stated

Puzzled me when Maloney didn't even have a go at it. 20-8 up with 10mns to go, very strange.

Yeah, he's rubbish, that Maloney, isn't he?

Cracking game, I thought. Looked like QLD all the way after they drew level, but what a finish! Ferguson seems to just get better and better; he was immense, and seems to have largely sorted out the errors that used to plague his game. I thought Wighton stood up really well too.

And as for Tedesco: he just does things other mere mortals just can't do.

Unbelievable speed, skill and intensity.

Makes watching Wigan look like Accrington Stanley (who are they?)
