Rumour post on love rugby league has the below. Im sure i remember this last year as well.
Hampshire offered contract
Full-back Ryan Hampshire has been offered a contract by Wakefield Trinity for 2020 but he is yet to sign the deal because he and his agent Craig Harrison believe his worth more than what has been offered.
The 24-year-old has been at Wakefield since 2018, scoring 14 tries and kicking 89 goals in 51 games for Chris Chester’s outfit. Another club made Hampshire a contract offer for next season – but that was lower than the one Wakefield had originally put on the table so it was turned down.
Hampshire again.
Hampshire again.
These are two reasons not to trust people.
1. We don't know them.
2. We do know them.

Re: Hampshire again.
I am sure plenty of players, of all levels of ability, feel they are worth more than what their current club offers. They will soon find out if they can command a higher wage elsewhere and if they can, they will take it.

Re: Hampshire again.
At 24 he really should of nailed down a position by now, he see's himself as a halfback but has played mostly at fullback and has arguably been most successful on the wing like he is currently

Re: Hampshire again.
How many times is he going to push against that revolving door?
You'd have thought he'd learnt by now!

Possibly taking poor advice from his agent ? He really needs to start playing and settling down without an apparent chip on his shoulders.

Re: Hampshire again.
From what ive seen of him he believes his own hype and then some.
The best option would have been for him to drop to championship in one of the better squads (leigh or toronto) and play 6/7 if thats what he wants to do. Get a full year in position potentially come up with a team and once settled if hes good enough he'll get picked off by one of the better teams.
At the moment he cannot hold down a position in superleague so he isnt developing in whatever his chosen position is. He may have left it too late to do what i said now because if he drops down its a further year and more youngsters coming through the ranks
The lads got talent, but you need more than that

He never fails to mess a move up does he,seems he was offered lower at a club after wakes dropped their offer, that tells you someone is over valuing him probably himself and his agent
