Warrington ban media from final training session

Reports on social media claim Warrington have banned media from attending their final training session before the Challenge Cup Final.

The final session before the Wembley showpiece is traditionally attended by journalists.

But broadcaster Rod Studd reports that the usual “open access” has been closed.

He said: “Warrington have now banned the media from their final pre-Cup Final training session, which is traditionally open access.

“Is Mr Price giving Blake Austin a run-out? Our trying to make people think he’s giving Blake Austin a run-out? All very odd.”
