Rovers have a second chance to secure their survival

Hull KR’s final game of the season at Salford Red Devils has been moved to Friday on a night when the Super League relegation battle will be decided.

Rovers had the chance to secure their survival against London Broncos but a late Jay Pitts try set up a four-team shootout on the final weekend.

London, KR, Huddersfield Giants and Wakefield Trinity are all locked on 20 points and will vie for safety in an unprecedented finish to a Super League campaign.

The Sky Sports cameras will be at the huge clash between Wakefield and the Broncos at Belle Vue, another fixture that was originally scheduled for Sunday.

Huddersfield will hope to get the win they need to secure safety when they host out-of-form Catalans Dragons.

Indeed, all four sides will go into the final round knowing a victory would keep them in Super League.

A defeat for London would keep Rovers up regardless of what happens at the AJ Bell Stadium, providing it isn’t a blowout score.
