Hull KR captain Joel Tomkins will miss Friday’s crunch game with Salford after being banned for one match for Grade A Punching.

KR are one of four teams tied at the bottom on 20 points and could be relegated this Friday if they fail to win and other results don’t go their way.

As it stands, Tomkins won’t be involved after being banned for throwing a punch during his side’s loss to London on Friday, however Rovers have confirmed they will be appealing the ban.

Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage.
