SUPER LEAGUE TOP 50 PLAYERS: 50-41

50. Louie McCarthy-Scarsbrook
Louie McCarthy-Scarsbrook was part of the 2019 Super League League Leaders and Grand Final winning team, St Helens. It was also announced that at the end of the season, LMS, would have his testimonial match in 2020.

49. Brad Dwyer
Brad Dwyer played best when used as an interchange, one of the moments of the season included his drop goal against Castleford Tigers and the reaction of his coach, David Furner.

48. Lee Gaskell
Huddersfield Giants struggled all season, but Lee Gaskell was their most consistent performer in 2019. He also finished in the top ten of the Man of Steel standings.

47. Toby King
Toby King played the majority of Warrington's Super League games this year, and is one of their most underrated performers. In offence he's great at collecting and putting the defence under pressure from cross-field kicks.

46. Jake Bibby
Jake Bibby was one of the stars of Salford Red Devils' 2019 campaign, the centre made over 2000 metres and scored 13 tries, he's signed for Wigan Warriors for 2020.

45. Trent Merrin
It was a tough year for Trent Merrin and Leeds Rhinos, but he was one of the star performers for the club, after Kallum Watkins left the club for Gold Coast Titans, Merrin was given the captaincy and flourished in that role, he'll stay at the club for 2020

44. Jordan Abdull
Jordan Abdull will play for Hull KR in 2020, in 2019, he played a pivotal role in London's fight for survival, in the end it wasn't to be enough but over the season he only missed two games; scoring 10 tries, assisting 14 and making 164 attacking kicks.

43. Paul McShane
Paul McShane is one of the best hookers in the league, he made 914 tackles in 25 games this season. It was a tough year for Castleford with injuries halting any consistency in their season but they still made it to the play-offs.

42. Morgan Smithies
Morgan Smithies was on the shortlist for the Young Player of the Year in his debut Super League season. The 18-year-old made his Wigan debut at the start of the year and cemented his place in Lam's squad making 21 appearances and setting a record for tackles made in a single game (72).

41. Danny Houghton
Danny Houghton was Super League's top tackler in 2019 making 1259 tackles in 26 appearances. The FC hooker also made 12 assets and 249 marker tackles.

SUPER LEAGUE TOP 50 PLAYERS: 40-31

40. Joe Philbin
Joe Philbin made the the Great Britain Lions tour, he was one of the key performers for the Wire this year and some crucial tries in the Challenge Cup made him a fans favourite.

39. Josh Charnley
Warrington's winger scored 17 tries in 25 games, and over 3000 metres. Josh Charnley on his day is one of the best wingers in the league with his powerful breaks and running, he made 35 clean breaks, one less than the leader.

38. Luke Yates
Luke Yates only missed one game all season for London Broncos, he was one of the top tacklers in Super League and made over 1500 metres for London.

37. Mike Cooper
Mike Cooper is one of the stand-out props in the league, this year for Warrington he made 24 appearances. He made 2026 metres, 664 tackles and 50 offloads.

36. Stefan Ratchford
Stefan Ratchford missed some of the season through injury, but was involved in 11 tries, he made over 1500 metres and kicked 82 goals as Warrington made it into the play-offs.

35. Rhys Williams
Rhys Williams finished as the third top metre maker in Super League with 3616 metres. Williams powerful running style caught the eye of Salford Red Devils as they completed the signing of Williams after his club was relegated.

34. Zeb Taia
Zeb Taia was part of Saints' powerful forward pack which were a driving force in helped Saints to a League Leaders' Shield and Grand Final trophy.

33. Sam Powell
One of the best hookers in Super League, Sam Powell made just under 1000 tackles this season, and assisted 12 tries, he scored a game-winning drop goal against Hull KR from distance.

32. Josh Griffin
Josh Griffin won the treble at Hull FC's awards night, he won Players Player, Supporter's Player, and Player of the Year award. Griffin scored 12 tries and assisted five tries, making over 3000 metres.

31. Theo Fages
Saints were almost faultless throughout the majority of the Super League season, Theo Fages was a key part of that squad and went about his business quietly with the star men taking the plaudits. Fages made 22 assists in 22 games.

SUPER LEAGUE TOP 50 PLAYERS: 30-21

30. Joey Lussick
Part of the underdog story that saw Salford Red Devils make it to the 2019 Grand Final, Joey Lussick's impact from as an interchange was phenomenal, his relationship with Hastings in the halves was a massive boost in Salford's miraculous run to the final.

29. Willie Isa
One of the best second-rowers in the competition, Willie Isa didn't miss a Super League game for Wigan in 2019. Isa's hard-hitting and powerful carries allowed him to make 1867 metres and 971 tackles.

28. David Fifita
It was an unbelievable start to the season for David Fifita, his powerful runs and his enigmatic persona helped light up Super League. He was in the running for Man of Steel early on in the season, however, injury halted his season, and the loss of Fifita was visible in Wakefield's results.

27. James Roby
Like Fifita, Roby was one of the favourites for the Man of Steel award at the start of the year but an injury halted his season. The hooker made 17 appearances this year, winning the Grand Final and the League Leaders' shield.

26. Mark Sneyd
Mark Sneyd scored more goals (104) and drop goals (7) than any other Super League player. Sneyd was a key figure in FC's offence, assisting 21 tries and making 147 attacking kicks.

25. Jake Trueman
One of the candidates for the Young Player of the Year award, Jake Trueman was a key figure in the Castleford side again after his special year in 2018 where he won the award. Trueman scored 8 tries, made 13 assists and more attacking kicks (168) than any other Super League player

24. Matty Lees
The 2019 Young Player of the Year winner, Matty Lees had a real break-through year, his powerful running and hard hits have similarities to his team mate Luke Thompson, unfortunately, he picked up an injury which saw him miss both of Saints' finals.

23. Dominique Peyroux
Dominique Peyroux is part of the most powerful packs in Super League, and it's no wonder they won the Grand Final and League Leaders' Shield. Peyroux made 26 appearances making 1692 metres and 645 tackles.

22. Ash Handley
In a side that struggled near the bottom of the table all season, Ash Handley scored 22 tries in 28 games on the wing for Leeds Rhinos, racking up over 3,000 metres in the process.

21. Ratu Naulago
Ratu Naulago was one of the signings of the season, Lee Radford picked him up on trial and he the winger repaid the coach with his blistering pace and some outstanding tries.
