The club signs plenty of overseas and non club trained players. Look at the current squad.

I’d rather have three top class overseas players than some of the average non club trained players in the current squad whether they come from overseas or other U.K. clubs.

The club has also had club trained marquee players so there’s no indication it won’t use the marquee rule to retain club trained players. It’s just daft to restrict a third marquee signing to club trained when it signs about half the first 17 from outside the club.

For me marquee player should only be players from outside the club,ideally stars who will put bums on seats
