Absolutely dreadful news. To get through a career in top grade rugby league for a guy of his size, and then get struck down by an illness like MND, life is sometimes so cruel.
Best wishes Rob Burrow.

Awful news. He might of played for Leeds but always liked watching him, could make things happen with his elusiveness and size.
All the best for the future for him and his family.

It’s so very sad. Yes, he may have played for Leeds but I liked him as a player & he was a very nice person too.

Wish him & his family all the very best as they fight this terrible illness.

that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Just watched the interview with him brought a tear to my eye and a lump in my throat it’s heart breaking

Rob burrow was one of those players no one had a bad word to say about - he came across as a really genuine person and he played the game without fear

Horrible horrible disease and I wish him the best

Very sad news. Hopefully, somebody will find a cure in not the too distant future. I feel for Rob and his family and wish him the best in his fight against this dreadful illness.
