I do hope the referees and RFL see it through and not give up after 3-4 weeks.
A foot controlling the ptb will help refs marshall the 10 yards. The NRL seems far better for the foot on the ball and a better 10 yards plus less messing around in the tackle.

Because they've got two refs? But we can't do that because of costs...

They never bothered much about correct p-t-b's in the 'good old days', though. That said, I would like to see it policed more strictly. Too much leeway is given these days to the side in possession, they are allowed to move off the mark, play the ball improperly, and all in the name of speeding the game up. Attack needs to show some craft.
