As others have mentioned, the reason Sinfield's gone is that he was responsible for appointing Bennett in the first place and still remained loyal to him at the bitter end, so basically he had nowhere to go.

I always thought that Sinfield was over rated as a player, he was made to look better by the good players around him his place kicking was his best asset

I always said Sinfield was crap and if it wasn't for his kicking he would be playing for the like of Dewsbury, But as usual I got slagged off by many of the experts on here and rlfans

I disagree. I think he was an excellent player for Super league. Not International level (but few are in England) but perfectly suited to SL.
