Gigot signs for Toronto as an amateur

Post by ancientnloyal »

Go got signed for Toronto for a months trial as an amateur (unpair)

Now... the rules do state that they can only play in reserve team games but Toronto have none of that. They’re spent up to the Cap too.

He’s named in the squad to face Wire

James Slevin
Ces Mountford
And the “kind of rugby player you’d want to be in your dreams” James Leytham
Should be in the Wigan Warriors Hall

Not enough cap left for a player...

Sign Gigot

1. We don't know them.
2. We do know them.

If that squad is up to the cap then they're in real trouble

Can I be the first to say "in the spirit of the cap".
I would worry about the viability of Toronto if that squad is up to cap. Personally I have always said that promotion and relegation without some kind of safety net for promoted clubs is always difficult. I am offering no solutions.

Radlinski played first team rugby for us for no wages for a short period. I've no problem with Gigot or Torronto on this matter.
