shaunedwardsfanclub wrote: Thu Mar 12, 2020 10:36 am Public health should be paramount, the government need to act otherwise Coronavirus will spread exponentially. If that means suspending sporting fixtures or cancelling them all together then so be it.
Next stage would be recommending people stay a metre apart.

So as we only get 10-12k in a 25k stadium surely we can just spread people out?
Good call! :D :D
There won't be 10 -12k as all the over 70's will be ordered to stay at home!

I'll be surprised if we don't see an abridged season at the very best. The worst, well, we don't want to think about that.

Leeds are not flying out to Perpignan today, one of their players is self-isolating

There will be a ban on sporting events (and all gatherings) but not yet.

As soon as we start to hit the upward trend, expect it.

Shows how little I know!

All elite football in England has been suspended until at least 3 April as a result of the spread of coronavirus.

Just a pity the Superleague suspension didn't start at 7pm Friday 13th March.

I think we are all due for a break as we should be.
