Wasn't too sure he meant it, but he did seem to keep his hands full for some time. If he'd realized his grab bag straight away, he'd have let go immediately, surely ?
It's a Grade F offence which is 8 matches and I don't know if that can be reduced, even if he claims it wasn't on purpose. And as other posters have said, he's not that type of player, has a good disciplinary record but not sure that can be taken into consideration for this particular offence ?
Saints could be hit with a few players missing as Percival is likely to be out for 4-6 weeks and James Graham looks to be carrying an injury, together with Makinson's suspension.
