The Betfred Super League fixture between Catalans Dragons and Warrington Wolves that was scheduled for Perpignan on Monday has been cancelled.
The Dragons had been placed into Stage 2 of the Multiple Cases Framework last Wednesday after five of their players and two members of backroom staff received positive tests for Covid-19 – meaning they were required to suspend training, and the cancellation of the home fixture against Hull FC scheduled for October 22.
In subsequent testing, two more players have received positive results, meaning the club remains shut down and will now arrange a further round of testing for early this week.
There are three Betfred Super League fixtures scheduled over the next two days, as follows:
Sunday October 25: Wakefield Trinity v Hull KR (2pm, Mobile Rocket Stadium, live on Our League)
Monday October 26: Salford Red Devils v St Helens (530pm), Castleford Tigers v Leeds Rhinos (745pm) – both at Emerald Headingley, live on Sky Sports.

COVID-19 UPDATE: DRAGONS V WOLVES CANCELLED
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

They've got to find 3 more games from somewhere or the top 4 is basically done.

Shame if Catalans don't make the play-offs because of Covid as they have been going well. Also, would sooner play Catalans than Leeds.
