I hope we don't see any return of this bizarre 'rugby league as snooker' analogy.

I mean, WTAF? That doesn't make a lick of sense.

Yesterday on Sky I watched the lions v kangaroo match from 2004 played at DW. Eddie and Steve were commentating and it made me realise how bland and monotone today’s commentators are. Eddie was full of enthusiasm for the lions and very patriotic whereas Steve was the usual tit but I enjoyed the commentary. The atmosphere came across on TV as fantastic only thing is I couldn’t remember were I was sat 😀

I think that's the difference when you watch early Sky coverage. They were always terrible, but at least then they were enthusiastic about the sport.
