Just watched the last game at Central Park, Wigan vs saints.
It was in 1999 but it still made the hairs on my neck stand on end. Brutal and full of heart and courage, from both teams.

Was a truly emotional day. Red hot, and packed to the gills, and putting one over the smellies......

The atmosphere was good for some games. But mainly it was quiet and often the crowd would actually be on wigans back. I did enjoy standing in the away crowd for the banter though (mostly)!
