He does seem on borrowed time I’d be surprised if Gildart and Hastings are coached by him next season

The main thing to take from that interview is the lack of coaching alternatives at the moment. No stand outs in Australia to the point that they may be talking to Kristian Wolf and Shaun Wane.
If Matty Peet really wants the job there may not be any competition for it.
