It's basic rugby done well. Cats had their opportunities, especially at the death, but couldn't convert their chances.

That’s an issue with the ref not Saints.

Happens every game to every team. Up to the refs to penalise and call what he sees.

Fluked it again. 2nd best team all year, just like last season, then helped over the line by corrupt linesman and dodgy refing.

More frustrating that they pinched it at the end!

Only disappointment (apart from the obvious), was the attendance (overall), appreciate it might be harder for Cats fans etc.

The scousers certainly got the right side of the referees calls, Shows that sometimes you need luck to win the big games, and they had the luck when they needed it, maybe time for captains challenge in televised games,
