Kristian Woolf lined up for sensational coaching move

Post by josie andrews »

St Helens head coach Kristian Woolf is reportedly been lined up for a top job in the NRL.

That’s according to the Daily Telegraph which has outlined Woolf’s back-to-back Grand Final successes in the UK as well as the Challenge Cup triumph this season as the pedigree of success that NRL clubs want.

The current Tonga national head coach has earned many admirers for his success at the Lancashire club, having taken over from Grand Final-winning boss Justin Holbrook before he left for the Gold Coast Titans at the end of 2019.

Though Woolf has always spoken about his happiness at Saints, his family are keen to go back home after the 2022 Super League season has ended.

Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan
