As for well he’s been injured ,Not really setting a good example is it to play if your carrying an injury most of the season as all your doing is letting the team down . Stand up admit your not playing as you should and maybe someone else could do better until your well and fit and learn for the future .
Well that’s what I was taught about teamwork.
Where has Bateman’s injury been confirmed ?
He’s had a problem with his shoulder/s all season. Did you not see him popping pain relief at magic during the game? Plus he was injured during the last England game v Allstars & missed several games for us after that fixture.
Why's he playing for England then? Surely we should withdraw him.

Is this confirmed or just a hunch?

If so, what is the injury? Why did he play the whole season ? And why aren’t the club reporting the injuries like they have with the other players?

he had it sorted didnt he? He had one in Aus and the other over here to remove the spurs on his shoulder, his injury in the international was his leg, I think his problem this year and for most of the team has been attitude, think they are better than they are and not rolling their sleeves up, he was schooled by bentley v Saints and can only think it was by attitude alone as otherwise Bateman would have had him in his pocket

Maybe he is sorted now, I don’t know but he has never looked right all season!

Or maybe like Pedro says attitude problems?

How was the match? How did Bateman play.

I assume he went well as no comments on here.
These are two reasons not to trust people.
1. We don't know them.
2. We do know them.

He played ok, scored 2 tries, Farrell with the opening try.

Final score France 10 England 30

Other tries were from Davies & 2 from Makinson. Abdull kicked 3 goals.
