It happened without a doubt. Teams must either play youths or forefit. Imagine percentages and relegation. Teams could endure they are unavailable for gurantee loses. Cats, Saints away etc but get point via a percentage. Its a situation open to abuse and it was. Unfortunately not by us as we struggled against sides at the end of the season

The other issue is home teams losing out on gate money when the away team cries off. Last season Leigh lost out on two home matches after Wire and Cas pulled out. They also had Hull away called off. All this was due to the opposition having the match called off.

Maybe if an away team causes a match to be cancelled they should have to compensate the home team for loss of earnings.
