Five Warriors selected for Wheelchair World Cup

Adam Rigby and Declan Roberts have been selected to represent England.

Head Coach and Player Phil Roberts will represent Ireland.

Mark Williams and Matt Wooloff will represent Wales and USA respectively.

Wigan Warriors have five Wheelchair players selected to represent their respective teams in the upcoming Wheelchair World Cup.

Mark Williams, who has scored 11 tries in 8 appearance this season has been selected for Wales, whilst Head Coach and player Phil Roberts has been selected to represent Ireland.

With 17 tries in 11 appearances for the Warriors, Matt Wooloff has also been selected in the USA squad.

19-tries and 3 goals in 2022 see Adam Rigby selected to pull on an England jersey once again as top scorer Declan Roberts who has crossed for 46 tries and 124 goals this year also sees his name on Tom Coyd’s list for the Rugby League World Cup.

The Wheelchair Rugby League World Cup kicks off at the Copperbox Arena, London on Thursday 3rd November as Group A games get underway before Group B open their accounts the following day. For all the schedules and tickets click HERE. https://www.rlwc2021.com/tickets

Don’t know who made the prices up for these games but I can’t see many sell-outs! Scandalous prices 🤬
