really enjoyed the game last night
Wales gave it a real go, and could walk off the pitch with their heads held high.
wasnt sure about Tonga's attitude early on, not sure if they just werent quite at it or thought they could just turn up and beat Wales, but either way good to see the Welsh lads getting stuck in and thought they were unlucky to go in at HT 16-6 down, but the power and directness just ground them down
pity the tonga try got chalked off in the 2nd half as it would have been a contender for try of the tournament

Huddersfield Giants star and ex-St Helens man disappointed at no try verdict which could have ‘promoted the sport’
Yesterday as Tonga and Wales did battle at the Totally Wicked Stadium, we saw one of the greatest no tries you will ever see from Huddersfield Giants’ Tui Lolohea.
The Giants fullback, playing in the halves, had already had an individual effort denied after a weaving run.
Then he crossed what was perhaps the greatest no try in the history of the rugby league world cup.
He started it with a kick but Tolutau Koula showed amazing pace to get to the ball as it edged towards the touchline. He flicked it back in as he almost did a front flip.
The ball then found its way to Lolohea who went over for the try.
However, the video referee denied the try as the ball has touched the touchline before it had been flicked back in devastating many viewers including BBC’s pundits Huddersfield Giants star Ash Golding and former St Helens man Jon Wilikin.
On the matter, Golding simply said on BBC: “Just give it promote the sport.”
Meanwhile, Wilkin was disappointed that after such a show of skill, a man in a bunker looking at a screen denied the try.
“What about that? Incredible, just incredible. Athleticism, speed, the excitement. And then you get some guy looking at a screen in a truck and says ‘no.'”
There can be very little debate about whether the decision was correct, but a moment like that would have been mightily useful in promoting the tournament and now it has slipped through the game’s fingers.
