I note that stains have lined up leigh as their sacrifical lamb for slong's testimonial, this raises two questions,
1/ could they not get decent opposition?
3/ has this been done to guarrentee the win?
Make that three questions.
How far into the match before he decides it's time to go home?
how (sean) long before he goes home?

Re: how (sean) long before he ...
Most teams organise testimonials against either a club they are likely to beat or a club that has some significance to the player.
I think St Helens have a win in mind for Longs testimonial just as Wigan would if it was a Wigan player.

Or they could use it as a pre-season friendly... eg Bradford Bulls v Keighley Cougars in the coming weeks.
