Hape out for the season

Post by Matthew »

Hape has ruptured his knee ligaments and will be out for the rest of the season:

"And Martin Offiah, trying to make some space, now then..." - Ray French, Wembley 1994

Interviewer: So that obviously means that you're not going to St Helens and you're not going to Leeds?

Frano: I don't know why I would ever want to go to St Helens or Leeds

This is a massive blow for them, he is a key player if not arguable their best player. I will predict that it ends there title chances

A comment has come my way from the JJB, but I was saving it for later.

Here you are then, but take it light heartedly

Lindsay has been quoted as saying “will he (Hape) be fit/ready for next season”. I must point out knowing how we all think and I know we will make far more out of this than realism, I have posted it out of devilment.

But apparently he did say it!

I have to admit i have heard a few mumbles that he was coming here next season, and i heard it a couple of weeks ago. Before anyone asks it wasn't anyone at the club and i don't have an officail source, it was mentioned to me by another fan i sit near.

Like all rumours, I'll wait & see. It would be nice, though - can we have Vainikolo as well, please?

Well now he has picked this injury up I hope we don't sign him. As with other players who have copped injuries like this it could take at least a season for him to get over it and maybe longer.

It would be DV all over again in which case I'll take it as a nailed on signing.
