Paul Cullen Resigns

Post by ultimate warrior »

Sat in work in Sunny Warrington, and there are very strong rumours that Paul Cullen has resigned!

This is unconfirmed, but all the Wire fans are talking about it and seem to think that this is true.

Cant find anything on web to confirm or deny this.

Anybody else heard these rumours.

More to follow when it comes through, as one of my mates is on his way down to the HJ stadium

He's just been interviewed now on BBC1 and it said his name and Warrington Wolves coach underneath his name, so I presume that all is well and he has not resigned.

So he is off to Leeds then, as there coach is leaving at the end of the year and Leeds have already said they are only interested in a British coach.......or is this 2+2=5.

:conf: Am I the only one who does not quite see why Paul cullen would be wanted by another club. I have yet too see anything that indicates he is anything special as a coach.

After speaking to somebody off the warrington vice presidents trust I have found out that Cullen stormed out last week after being given 8 games to prove himself. People on the board feel that he had taken the club too far although others feel opposite.

heard the same rumours about cullen having 8 games to prove himself.

some warrington fans i work with think that its crazy, but others think it may be time for him to go.

a lot seem to be of the opinion that he has taken the team as fa as he can, and i tend to agree. he is a good coach, but if wire want to make the final step and become one of the genuine contenders for silverware, think they may need to bring in somebody with fresh ideas
