Road Bike

Post by bomhead »

Does anyone have an old road bike in need of a new owner and repair as I am looking for one but am short on cash at the moment - it would need to be an adult size

Ebay is probably your best bet (if no one on here can help).

There are literally hundreds of bikes of all shapes and sizes on there. When you say adult bike, they can come in many different sizes, it depends how tall you are and your measurements etc. No point buying a 51cm road bike if you're 6' 4" :)

been after a mountain bike for going fishing on, not risking any damage to my Mondraker so just looking for some old knackered thing that doesn't work to do up, the prices that atre being asked on ebay are ridiculous for really crap brands of bikes, somebody was trying to sell an early 90's raliegh for £75, it was in terrible condition, i sold a 2000 Kona Hahana in very good condition for the same price 3 years ago, some southern people just take the piss like

The price of bicycles is getting astronomical at the moment. I blame Sir Brad and Chris Froome et al :D

2.2 miles a day, not much to some, but it means a lot to me

Yeah, but you're lapping everyone that's sat at home doing nothing. Well done mate, keep it going.
