Depends how big the tariff is. The balls are in the air and how and when they come down nobody knows where they'll land. However even a blind man on a galloping horse will see that those than can least afford will have their pockets relieved of even more cash.

He still believes that when we leave the EU we will have Free Trade with the EU. Won't make any more payments and our borders will be under control so we can decide who enters the UK and who doesn't.
Wormer believes all that but the three Brexit ministers who used to believe it but don't now.

The German car makers lobbied their Govt for a free trade in cars with the UK and have been denied. They were told it was far more important that the 27 countries stand together and they have accepted this. Their four freedoms are now non negotiable.

Brexit has united the EU like its never been united before.
Wilders lost the Dutch election, forecasts are that Le Pen will get thrashed in the 2nd round of the French elections also that Merkel will get re-elected.

Whats the odds that the 2020 Gen Election will also have a new referendum together with the usual GE poll?
Do you suffer from Mental Illness?, you really do need to see somebody, you are living in a world that is not real, the stuff you come out with is astounding

we can put import taxes up as much, they will have to drop their price or lobby their government. I know they have said no but wait until its a reality.

Unfortunately the Germans have a far better manufacturing base than we have so, as I have previously said by using cars as an example, we will have to import off them and prices will go up for the end user.
I come across German manufactured equipment every week whilst at work, you struggle to get British equipment! A lot of British named companies are just agents for foreign supplied equipment.
A similar scenario applies to Italian equipment.

Old Wormer thinks that Britain's decision to renew the Trident Subs is due to the Brexit v vote. Or so his previous link suggested.
UKIP are short of candidates for next month's local elections.
Why don't you stand for election? Just what they are looking for!

As for tariifs they vary from produce to product.
Children's clothes and books may well remain at zero, whereas car would be 10% and farming and agricultural products would be betweem 35% and 40%.

What no one has mentioned at all are import quotas.
Why not? They go together when trading with a free trade area from outside that area. Surely got to come into the equation some time.

Old wormer doesn't think anything of the sort, you have been proved wrong for the umpteenth time and you can't handle it so you resort to idiocy and childishness just like your girlfriend Wandering Warrior, you too are now on the ignore list, tatty bye bye

Wormer is a fully paid up Leaver, he doesn't know anything about trade, tariffs or quotas. WW, we can laugh at old Wormer, trouble is many MPs with his views expect to be taken seriously.

The papers are full of a possible Nuclear War between the USA & North Korea. This is dreadful, I hope we in the UK are not involved in anyway whatsoever.
China needs to step in quickly as if there's any kind of was it will be they who have to pick up the pieces.
