RIP Eric Bristow died yesterday aged 60
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

R.I.P The Crafty one, remember getting his Crafty Cockney darts set 35+ years since, would never have got in darts if it hadn't been for Eric

IF YOU STRIKE ME DOWN I WILL BECOME MORE POWERFUL THAN YOU CAN POSSIBLY IMAGINE
Re: Eric Bristow
Changed darts if it was not for him darts would not be in the mainstream as it is today. Jocky Wilson and him played the media at the time and the fans perfectly. Atmosphere when either played in the other persons against each other was toxic depended where they played.
