RIP Eric Bristow died yesterday aged 60
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

R.I.P The Crafty one, remember getting his Crafty Cockney darts set 35+ years since, would never have got in darts if it hadn't been for Eric

I used to hate him as a kid but have so much respect for him these days...... his autobiography is one ov the best ive ever read

Changed darts if it was not for him darts would not be in the mainstream as it is today. Jocky Wilson and him played the media at the time and the fans perfectly. Atmosphere when either played in the other persons against each other was toxic depended where they played.

Class player and a great pantomime villain.
