Rivy and anglezarke are my neck of the woods... always have a blast up anglezarke to the car park just to test. Sheep house Lane is quite normal and yes a bit of a drag. Tbh it’s just string out having fun that matters.

Although I find Factory Hill/ Foxholes a bugger!

Living just outside The Peak District there are a few more hills and I've ridden practically all of them. Nothing is anywhere near a proper climb from the Alps or Pyrennes though. We have some great climbs, but most are pretty short in comparison.

I rode the Etape du Tour in 2012, Aubisque, Tourmalet, Aspin, Peyresourde. Imaging climbing for an hour plus up something like Tourmalet.

Parbold hill is a mere speedbump.

If you want to watch some short, but exciting hill action then get over to Monsall for their hill climb on 7 Oct, Tom Pidcock will be riding. A great event.

World Champs today just to say I am over the moon for Valverde what a Legend he is. Being a fan of his and of AG2R I couldn’t have asked for a better day! What a brutal climb at the end
