The Cricket

Any one watching?

England are clearly the best side in the one day game but the best sides don't always win.

An exciting final for sure.

Stokes Dad ( A Kiwi) coached Workington and Whitehaven, Stokes basically grew up there living in Cockermouth. He has that mental toughness

Didn't know that.

He certainly won that for England. About as mentally tough as they come

i really like the video ref in cricket, although we saw it mess up in the semi finals.

1 or 2 calls a match per side, if the refs orginal call is correct they lose a refereal if its wrong they keep it.

SL should really look at that system.
These are two reasons not to trust people.
1. We don't know them.
2. We do know them.

Agreed !
They also have the "Challenge" system in tennis which I think works the same way as the above.
Criterea would just need to be sorted, e.g. forward passes ?

I've said it before and I'll say it again; if they can rule on forward passes in RU, they can in league. The issue is, can you accept that forward passes are going to ruled on in the build-up to a try, but not elsewhere? Although you could argue we already have that situation, with obstruction, etc.
