Brett has turned down the offer of a 1 year deal with the NRL'S debut club the Gold Coast Titans. He does not want to move again after settling in Sydney after moving home from Wigan. He may be forced into retirement now as an offer of a contract from a Sydney based club seems unlikely.

And who can blame him? It isn't like moving from Hull to Wigan its is a heck of a long way to uproot yourself for a single season of RL.

After the amount of years quality service that Brett gave to us, don't you think he deserves to retire from getting a sore body for most of every week, and then by the time he's recovered, he's recovering from another battering.
