No offence to Jon Winder but he is wet behind the ears compared to Mick Hannon and will do exactly what he is told. Mick had been everywhere / done everything. He even coached our academy team at one point. Mick would and could have stood in front of anybody and argued his point of view.

Deano being treated like this is the pits.

Mick did not do junior development though. He did the community stuff. - Completely different department.

We have seen all this before. Mo could not care less for the feeling of supporters. I would bet you would be hard pushed to find half a dozen people who do not think the right thing to do would be to give Deano a real send off.
Well we have little Mo so that leaves five to find.

But the list of players shat on continues

These are just questions.

Can the supporters club organise an evening for Dean?
Can they hire a room at the JJB and hold a private function for him?

This would also bring media attention to Mr Lindsay, I know he likes having media attention but he may not like this type.

Mick Hannon was employed as community development manager, Jon Winder is employed as community development manager. SAME ROLE. Jon replaced Mick.

Might be worth raising at the next Riversiders meeting.

If the club do nothing to thank Dean Bell then it's a bl***y disgrace
He deserves a BIG thank-you from both the suppoters and the staff.
Lets hope 'pester power' from the fans can get something done.

What about a sustained chant of his name for say a couple of minutes non stop? I watched a liverpool match on tv recentley were the fans chanted "justice for the familys" (re Hillborough disaster) for a full 5 mins, absolutely electric. I know this is completely different but if the whole of the wigan fans chanted Deano non stop for a full 2 mins it would show them (Mo & co) and him how we feel and if we did it at kick off it would be on Sky and I'm sure eddie & stevo would talk about it.
